RV Extended Service Contract Claims Assistance

Help with the repair and the claim process

RV Service Now helps coordinate diagnosis, documentation and repair authorization with extended service contract providers. Share the RV location, symptoms and contract details so your advisor can discuss the process before work begins.

What owners run into

When to contact us about a claim

✓ You have a contract but no idea what it covers
✓ A previous shop told you "warranty won't cover that"
✓ A claim got denied and you never understood why
✓ The adjuster wants photos, teardown reports, and diagnostic codes
✓ Approvals keep stalling and no one is following up
✓ Deductible, betterment, and labor caps aren't explained
✓ You're being asked to pay up front and "fight for reimbursement later"
✓ The dealer wants the RV for weeks before they even open a claim

How we handle it

From contract review to the repair decision

We work with extended service contract providers on repair documentation and authorization requests. Have your contract administrator's name and policy details available when you call so we can confirm the submission requirements.

Contract Review

We review the contract's deductible, limits and exclusions with you, then seek the provider's authorization for claim-related repairs. The provider determines whether the failure and proposed work qualify.

Claim Filing & Documentation

We prepare diagnostic findings, relevant photos and a repair estimate for the provider's review. Any additional testing or teardown is discussed before proceeding.

Approval, Repair & Payment

Once authorization and your approval are in place, we coordinate parts and repairs. Direct billing depends on the provider and contract; your advisor explains the payment arrangement and customer responsibility.

How the process works

How the claim and repair process works

1

Send us the contract

Ask your advisor how to share the contract and claim details. We review the provider's requirements before proceeding with claim-related work.

2

Diagnosis & claim filing

A technician evaluates the reported problem and documents the findings. We submit the repair information the provider requests and discuss any additional diagnostic steps with you.

3

Approval & repair

We track the provider's response and explain the approved scope and any customer responsibility. Repairs proceed with your approval, with direct billing arranged when the contract and provider allow it.

Why this matters

Understand the claim decision before approving repairs

Share the contract before authorizing claim-related work. We coordinate findings, photographs and the repair estimate with your provider. Coverage and payment depend on the contract and the provider's decision, which we discuss with you before approved repairs proceed.

Your service advisor helps you understand the next step, from diagnosis through the repair decision.

RV refrigerator and freezer with both doors open and interior equipment labels visible
For an appliance concern, document the installed refrigerator, its model and serial label, the reported symptoms and the diagnostic findings. Those details support the provider’s review; a photograph of an appliance does not establish a covered failure.

Common questions.

Who will actually be working on my RV?

An RV Service Now employee arrives in a company vehicle and works directly with our service team. Tell your advisor about the RV and the work you need so we can match the visit to the right technician. Certificates of insurance are available on request.

Do I need to call my warranty company before scheduling?

Check the claim instructions in your contract and share them with your advisor. We can coordinate the repair facility's documentation and authorization request, including any steps the provider requires from you.

Do you bill the warranty company directly, or do I pay up front and get reimbursed?

We arrange direct billing when the provider and contract allow it. If reimbursement is required, your advisor explains the payment arrangement before repairs proceed and provides the applicable repair documentation.

Will you tell me what my contract covers before I commit to a repair?

We review the contract and explain the provider's authorization status, approved amount and any known customer responsibility. You can review those details with the repair estimate before approving work.

My claim got denied by someone else. Can you help?

Share the denial explanation and contract with your advisor. We can discuss whether additional diagnostic findings or documentation may support a review. The provider determines coverage and any reconsideration.

Which extended warranty companies do you work with?

We work with a range of extended service contract providers. Tell us the administrator listed on your contract so we can confirm its requirements and discuss the claim process.

Do you handle warranty claims at campgrounds or storage lots?

Yes. Driveway, storage lot, campground, resort. Wherever the RV is parked. We arrive in a fully stocked service van and open the claim from the diagnostic visit forward.
